Rachel is the director of Carist Consulting. She has over 20 years of experience providing analysis, research and advice on environmental, energy and economic policy issues as a consultant and at Government of Canada departments such as Finance Canada, Environment Canada, Natural Resources Canada, the Privy Council Office and the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency. Rachel's last position in the Government was as Director of Current Analysis and Economic Research at Environment Canada.
Rachel holds a Master's Degree in economics from Queen's University, and has spent her career working at the intersection of domestic and international economic, environmental and energy challenges. Her expertise lies in translating complex data and analysis into clear, concise and strategic policy advice.
For larger projects, Rachel can access a network of highly-qualified sub-contractors.
